This should come as no surprise that African American men are stylish.   Check out any archive records, dating from the Harlem Renissance to present-day, and you see us in various forms of dress. But recently there has been a re-emergence of style and no longer do we feel the need to hide underneath oversized garments. These group of stylish men understand style, march to the beat of their own drums and dare not succumb to fickle trends.  They borrow from the past to create their own fashionable futures.

Following trend behind The New York Times’ “Pushing the Boundaries of Black Style,”  Ebony Magazine’s fall fashion issue has devoted an entire feature, aptly titled “The Gentlemen’s Club, that includes prominent AA satorialists, dandies, singers, designers, stylists and artists.   Listed in the article are:
