Suiting, patterns and knits are key elements in the future of menswear. Syndey, Australia-based design house Vanishing Elephant, not one to follow trend, launched their boutique line in 2008 as an answer for those seeking quality, purpose and originality in everyday uniform. Their main purpose is to create a classic sense of what today’s gentleman should look like. With each season they improved and in November 2010 were awarded Designer of the Year at GQ’s Men of the Year Award ceremony. This 2012 season has brought a unique sense of fabrication, colour palettes and classic tailoring. This particular collection pairs muted chinos, a few with their signature elephant pattern, with paisley printed and monogrammed shirts, olive hued outerwear and embroidered Aztec pattern. This is what today’s uniformed gentleman is all about.
